The Todmorden Mills Papermill Gallery is located on the south side of Pottery Road between Broadview and Bayview in East York (Toronto). It is owned and operated by the City of Toronto. It is worth a visit all on its own - it is a beautiful gallery. I frequently show there either with private groups or with the Don Valley Art Club (DVAC). It is a bit of a hike from Broadview subway station, but a short walk from Broadview and Mortimer - so you can take a bus from Broadview Station and get off at this intersection. If you drive, there is plenty of parking behind the gallery. There is a really nice theatre in the same building as the gallery, which is home to the East York Players, amongst others.
Hi Friends and Art Lovers,
I hope some of you have been able to attend the Don Valley Art Club (DVAC) November Show at Todmorden Mills Papermill Gallery on Pottery Road in East York. We have some very good pieces at very reasonable prices. My website has been going through some growing pains over the last week or so - when I tried to edit it I somehow managed to destroy/ delete 5 pages! So, please bear with me while Stan and I try to recreate the site. I hope that my next transimission will include some more optomistic discussion and an invitation to a show. Cheers, Charles |
