Hi Friends and Art Lovers, This is one side of a Bell Box Mural which I painted in August 2017. It was hot and I got burnt, but it was a blast! Cheers, Charles Hi Friends & Art Lovers, It's a Group Show. Some small paintings, others a little larger. Mostly landscapes or streetscapes of the East End of Toronto and Waterfront. Come and enjoy meeting the artists and have some refreshments between 7:00 nad 9:00 PM this Friday, December 16, 2016. Cheers, Charles Wheelhouse in Autumn, Oil on Panel (c) Charles Wakefield, 2015

Cheers, Charles Hi Friends and Artlovers,
An amazing day yesterday. My painting Evening Series Race - Cherry Beach was sold on Artbomb.com I am still amazed by modern technology. Artbomb's online auctions reach a lot of people, and that is pretty fantastic. However, they can only auction off a few pieces of my inventory, so, if you like a piece of mine, send me an email and ask me about it. If you would like to be invited to my shows or be invited to online previews of my work, send me an email at [email protected] Cheers, Charles Hi Friends and Art Lovers,
Just to let you know that I will be showing at the Artfest Art in the Park in Port Credit at Memorial Park in Port Credit - Mississauga, west of Hurontario, off Stavebank and north side of Lakeshore, next to the Credit River. I don't know my booth number, but there is lots to look at while searching for my booth. I will be in a white tent - not very helpful, I know. Should be fun - hope to see you there. Cheers, Charles HI Friends and Art Lovers,
I will be participating in the Arts on the Credit Fine Craft & Art Show at the Waterside Inn at 15 Stavebank Road South in Port Credit (Mississauga west of Hurontario, off of Lakeshore) the weekend of April 11th & 12th, 2015. There is a $5.00 fee at the door but this is waived if you bring a copy of the invitation postcard. The show is in the ballroom, my booth should be on the right hand side of the entrance, plus or minus, depending on how many entrances there are. Currently, my painting Rollers on the Beach near Cabarette, DR is in the lobby of the hotel to help promote the show. It can be seen on this site with my paintings from Haiti (DR is the other half of the island). Other shows that I expect to be showing at this summer include the Art in the Park Shows in Oakville (early August) and at Memorial Park in Port Credit and with the Don Valley Art Club both in May. Stay tuned for these postings and check for details on my Shows and Events Page. Thanks Cheers, Charles |
